Role Overview



  • As the HR/Legal Officer for our Eye Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in managing human resources functions and legal compliance within the clinic.

  • This dual-role position requires a candidate with experience in both HR and legal matters, ensuring the seamless operation of the clinic in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.


Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:



  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for clinic staff.

  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.


HR Policies and Procedures:



  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and healthcare regulations.


Employee Relations:



  • Address employee concerns and grievances.

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.


Training and Development:



  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.

  • Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics.


Performance Management:



  • Oversee the performance appraisal process.

  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans.


Legal Compliance:

Legal Documentation:



  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

  • Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of clinic operations.


Regulatory Compliance:



  • Stay informed about healthcare laws and regulations.

  • Ensure the clinic's adherence to legal requirements in the eye care industry.


Risk Management:



  • Identify legal risks and provide proactive solutions.

  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.


Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, or a related field.


Experience:



  • 3 years of combined experience in HR and Legal roles, preferably within a healthcare setting.


Skills:



  • Strong understanding of HR principles and legal frameworks.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
