Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper functioning of the company’s information processing system.


• Ensure all the computers, shared folders, outlook accounts, anti-virus software, printers, scanners, time attendance machine, UPS, intercoms, telephones, etc. are maximized, updated, and maintained for optimal performance


• Ensure the company’s database hosted on the company’s server is secured from hackers and viral attacks.


• Assist colleagues with more basic IT needs by sharing IT related knowledge to help others


• Manage the Company’s Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)


• Manage the Company’s Domain Name System (DNS) and ensure all systems are connected to the server.


• Manage the Cyber-roam Security Router and the Company’s Virtual Private Network (VPN)


• Continuously evaluate existing information systems and services and recommend new ones to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems in the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• 5 years experience in system/network administration including maintenance and upgrades.


• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of network, and server infrastructure.


• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.


• Proven experience in installing and configuring various operating systems
