As a sales manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and leading high-performing field sales and enterprise sales teams. You will be responsible for strategy development and execution, sales team performance, and the overall sales growth of the company.
Job Duties
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company's overall objectives and revenue targets.
Drive revenue growth by identifying new sales opportunities, creating innovative sales initiatives, and exploring untapped markets to expand the customer base.
Lead and mentored a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement toward achieving individual and collective sales goals.
Identify key market trends and customer needs to devise effective distribution strategies that enhance the company's market presence and brand visibility.
Forge strategic partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, corporate entities, and other relevant organizations, to foster collaboration and drive subscription growth.
Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate sales performance, monitor key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
Implement strategies to optimize sales processes and enhance overall sales efficiency.
Develop and manage the sales and distribution budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support sales initiatives and maximize ROI.
Collaborate closely with other departments and subsidiaries, Marketing, Product Development, to ensure a seamless integration of sales efforts with other business functions.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's Degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in a senior Managerial position.
Experience in the sales or distribution of educational products would be preferred.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies that contribute to the expansion of market share and brand recognition.
Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed business decisions and drive sales initiatives.
Innovative mindset with a keen eye for emerging trends and technologies in the edtech industry, allowing for the adaptation and implementation of cutting-edge sales and distribution practices.
Strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of financial management and budgetary principles related to sales operations.
