Qualifications and Skills:



  • 1+ years of hospitality/customer service experience.

  • Proficiency with computer software, including Opera PMS (Micros).

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Quick problem solver.

  • Organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm.

  • Capable of lifting at least 25-30 pounds.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Professional with a positive and personable attitude.

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Answer guest inquiries via email and phone.

  • Ensure a smooth check-in process by corresponding directly with guests regarding check-in time and parking needs.

  • Inspect the apartment before guests' arrival to ensure it meets our standards.

  • Ensure guests have submitted required documents and payments before checking in.

  • Provide guests with keys, parking passes, and other necessary items for their stay.

  • Escort guests to their apartments, familiarizing them with the unit and its amenities.

  • Review the ALR Guest Book (QR Code) with guests, offering information about nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and local attractions.

  • Anticipate guests' needs to enhance their experience.

  • Handle and communicate guest complaints to the manager.

  • Coordinate maintenance requests with the leasing office and onsite maintenance personnel.

  • Assist with reservations via phone, email, or other reservation platforms.

  • Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests when possible.

  • Pre-register, block reservations, take same-day reservations, and future reservations following hotel rate structures and discounts.

  • Handle guest check-ins/check-outs efficiently and in a friendly manner, following hotel credit/cash handling policies.

  • Resolve customer inquiries related to hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, safety boxes, and more.

  • Cancel room reservations as per procedures.

  • Non-Essential Functions:

  • Inventory guest room keys according to policy and request re-keying as necessary.

  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or during peak times in areas such as Porter, Hotel Communication Coordinators, and Reservationist.

  • Verify registration cards against computer records for accuracy of name, payment type, rate, and market segment.
