Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to create diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate ultrasound findings.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during procedures.
- Evaluate and Analyze ultrasound images for technical quality and diagnostic information.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and ultrasound reports.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff or trainees when necessary.
- Adhere to established protocols, procedures, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Sonographer.
- A valid license to practice and certifications.
