We are seeking for a skilled, reliable, efficient maintenance engineer to join our organization. In this position, you will oversee the continuous running of equipment and machinery.
You will use computerised systems to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs based on client requirement and industry standard that meet high quality standards. This role requires a strong organizational, leadership & communication skills.
Job Description
Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
Diagnose breakdown problem, carry out routine scheduled maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
Oversee fitting of new parts and ensure all equipment are working correctly
Carry out quality inspections on maintenance projects
Liaise with client departments, customers and other in regards maintenance work
Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
Manage maintenance tools, store and equipment
Monitor and control maintenance costs
Manage emergencies, unplanned maintenance problems and repairs
Improve health and safety policies and procedures
Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines based on client requirement and industry standard.
Collect details of work from Clients and prepare technical specifications of systems.
Ensure effective interpretation of client’s requirements and ideas
Coordinate all technical issues within and around Projects
Read design specifications and technical drawings prepared by other contractors
Represent the company on all meetings and requests by the client
Manage and maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain
Proposals, present research findings, establish specifications or discuss project status.
Provide analytical and problem solving support, employing engineering skillsin support of business and quality improvement processes.
Advise and assist in obtaining patents or meeting other legal requirements.
Maintain an awareness of trends, knowledge of the market and may also conduct research/market intelligence in the field of expertise.
Develop strategic maintenance plan for projects
Requirements
BSc, BTech / HND or M.Sc. (or its equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Facility Management
Minimum of 10 years post NYSC experience working on maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing & Fire Services projects.
Candidate must have previous experience in Project Maintenance Engineering.
Knowledge of ASHRAE Standards and Guidelines is required.
