• The Ice Cream Sales Merchandiser maintains the quality and integrity of YettySpeaks Confectionery's Frozen Custard ice cream in assigned grocery stores by acting as a sales ambassador for YettySpeaks by maintaining relationships with customers and answering their questions and concerns.


• The Merchandiser’s primary function is to support the display and stocking of Ice Cream and frozen products at various customer sites.


• This includes merchandising product, replenishing store freezers , improving shelf positioning, increasing product display space, ensuring retail price tags are properly displayed maintaining all Point-of-Sales materials, establishing rapport/credibility with store personnel, and taking orders.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting visits 2 times a week to assigned supermarket/outlets and building rapport with various retail channel leads and Managers


• Ensure locations are well merchandised with adequate level of stocks at home bay according to market share, or follow planogram and all chillers and secondary display


• Coordinate with external and internal staff on ordering of merchandise


• Manage internal & external stakeholders to ensure setups are done in a timely manner according to brand guidelines


• Conduct regular store visits to ensure display compliance & provide guidance to retail staff


• Perform occasional ice cream tasting and answering customers enquiries


• Compile and submit visitation report timely (by next working day)


• Manage event set-ups and secondary displays as required


• Submit weekly report on all completed retail tasks in a timely manner


• Provide good customer service and sales services

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age


• High School Diploma / GED equivalent


• Ability to work safely


• Part-time Monday and Fridays or Tuesday and Thursdays hours 9am-5pm (8 days a month)


• N18,000 per Month


• Proven ability to be self-motivated and work under one’s own initiative.


• Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills


• Committed and possesses the ability to work in individually and in a team


• Result-oriented, strong work ethic, and able to work under pressure and independently


• High level of integrity and responsibility.
