JOB SUMMARY:

The Heavy Duty (Electrician) shall be involved in the electrical services, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy duty and other construction equipment and perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure maximum operational availability of heavy equipment by diagnostic work and repair methods


• Have the ability to work independently without or with minimum supervision.


•  Ensure all preventive maintenance (electrical) is conducted as defined in the system manual and company procedure.


• Attend promptly to breakdowns as reported

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate in Heavy Plant/Electrician or higher


• A professional experience in Heavy Equipment Electrical Diagnosis and repair/Maintenance


• Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment electrician.


• Understanding of computer testing technologies


• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.


• Ability to work after-hours when required.


• Good communication skills
