Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Master Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of coffee culture, exceptional brewing skills, and a talent for creating memorable coffee experiences. As the Master Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving the finest quality coffee beverages to our guests, maintaining a clean and organized coffee bar, and providing outstanding customer service.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.


• Ensure the highest standards of coffee quality, freshness, and flavor by properly sourcing, storing, and grinding coffee beans.


• Calibrate espresso machines and other equipment to maintain consistency in brewing and extraction.


• Educate customers about different coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their coffee experience.


• Customize coffee orders to meet individual preferences, including adjusting grind size, milk type, and flavor syrups.


• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the coffee bar area, including equipment, countertops, and seating areas.


• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock.


• Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee brewing techniques, drink preparation, and customer service skills.


• Provide prompt and friendly customer service, greeting guests, taking orders, and processing payments with accuracy and efficiency.


• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new coffee products, and brewing methods to continuously improve coffee offerings and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or cafe, with a demonstrated ability to make exceptional coffee.


• Extensive knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, roasting methods, and flavor profiles.


• Proficiency in espresso brewing techniques, milk steaming, latte art, and drink customization.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in coffee preparation and presentation.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure.


• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
