Job Description

• Issue drugs to patients as directed by the doctor in the correct dosage, note unit price and send them to front desk for payment.


• Prepare medicine using correct dosages and material for each individual patient.


• Clarify all concerns with patient prescription with issuing physician to avoid errors.


• Follow hospital guidelines on issuing restricted and addictive drugs.


• Educate patient on proper usage of drugs issued including storage and disposing.


• Fill correct documentation for requisition and returning of drugs.


• Update patient and pharmacy records and submit appropriate report to head of pharmacy.

Requirements

• B. Pharm


• current practicing license


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills


• Effective leadership qualities


• Knowledge of NHIA/HMO process


• Must be residing within Kubwa, dei-dei and environs.
