Job Summary

• As a Payroll Intern in our dynamic consulting firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting our payroll team in delivering accurate and compliant payroll services to our diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end payroll processing for our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to specific client requirements and learn and utilize payroll software and tools to input and verify payroll data.


• Work closely with consultants and client managers to understand client-specific payroll needs and contribute to tailoring solutions accordingly and communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service.


• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements and collaborate with the payroll team to ensure that payroll practices align with legal and regulatory standards.


• Assist in identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and address employee inquiries related to payroll with professionalism and efficiency.

Requirements

• HND / BSc in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Basic understanding of payroll principles and processes is a plus.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
