Job Brief

• Bottle Water Production Manager: Is a single-position mid-manager classification.


• Under administrative direction, within a framework of overall goals and objectives, the incumbent oversees water quality and operations support activities and District plant operations and pumping activities.


• Responsibilities are broad in scope and require leadership and independent judgment on issues that are complex, interpretive, and evaluative in nature.


• This classification is distinguished from other managers within the District by the specific responsibility for ensuring water quality compliance during operations and maintenance activities as well as ensuring water production activities are carried out in such a way to meet customer needs.

Job Description

• Responsible for plant production goals.


• Responsible for product quality control for the plant.


• Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines.


• Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production and shipping.


• Select and train plant staff.


• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills.


• Conduct employee performance reviews.


• Schedule and conduct plant meetings.


• Ensure maintenance of the clean and safe plant.


• Communicate with all levels of personnel with strong interpersonal skills.


• Attend corporate training and meetings.

Job Requirements

Required:

• 1-5+ years – Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.


• HND/BSc in Biochemistry, chemistry or it's related field.


• Food/Beverage/Plastics manufacturing experience preferred.


• Previous experience as a Bottle water Production Manager.

• Strong planning and organization skills and ability to multi-task


• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, clients, customers, and the general public


• High sense of urgency.


• Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment
