Our client, a prominent indigenous Oilfield Engineering & Logistics firm based in Port Harcourt. Specializing in the sales, supply, and servicing of Tubular/Casing, Line pipes, and Downhole tools. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions to their clients in the oil and gas industry. Currently seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead and optimize their operational activities in Port Harcourt.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the oilfield engineering and logistics sector.
- Oversee the supply chain processes, from procurement to delivery, to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of Tubular/Casing, Line pipes, and Downhole tools.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships and optimize the sourcing process.
- Manage the servicing and maintenance operations for Tubular/Casing, Line pipes, and Downhole tools to guarantee optimal functionality and longevity.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Ensure that all products and services meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits to uphold the highest standards.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their unique requirements and ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and align operational strategies accordingly.
- Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet operational objectives.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the operational budget effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management within the oil and gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of oilfield engineering and logistics operations.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
