Job Description

• Our client urgently requires the services of a good Chef for the personal support of the Chairman of the Hotel. The ideal candidate will be residence with the Chairman and will always be available to travel with him.


• This person must have a minimum experience of Three (3) years. Previous experience as personal Chef will be an added advantage. Due to the nature of the Chairman’s activities which requires frequent travels along with the Cook, a male Chef is preferred

The Job description includes but not limited to the following:

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh


• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients


• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods serve food


• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes


• Handle and store ingredients and food


• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards


• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils


• Execute opening and closing procedures


• Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment


• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients


• Monitor station inventory levels


• Accommodate guests special requests


• Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers


• Menu planning


• Shopping for ingredients


• Any other assignment
