  • We are seeking a skilled Fleet Officer to join our team. As a Fleet Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of our fleet, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.

  • This is a key role that requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Your expertise in fleet management and logistics processes will be vital in streamlining operations, reducing costs, and improving overall performance.


Responsibilities



  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s fleet of vehicles

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization and reduce downtime

  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards

  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs of company vehicles

  • Analyze data and generate reports to continuously monitor and improve fleet performance

  • Bring in new vehicles to the fleet

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet management and transportation

  • Register and license all vehicles under their management

  • Find ways to cut costs and maximize profits

  • You will be responsible for bringing in new vehicles to the fleet

  • Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency

  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection


Requirements



  • Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND qualification with 2-3 years experience.

  • Proven experience as fleet officer

  • Excellent knowledge of transportation regulations

  • Strong proficiency in fleet management software and other relevant tools

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Must have knowledge of E-hailing

  • Bring in new vehicles to the fleet

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Applicant should reside within Ikeja and it environs
