• We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theater Technician to join our dynamic team.


• As a Theater Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical theater.


• You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical equipment, assisting surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments before, during, and after surgical procedures.


• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by handing them instruments and supplies as needed.


• Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the surgical theater and equipment.


• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.


• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.


• Participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated on new technologies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or diploma in theater technology or a related field is preferred.


• Proven experience as a Theater Technician or in a similar role in a healthcare setting.


• Knowledge of surgical procedures, medical equipment, and sterilization techniques.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.


• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
