This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Marketing.
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, managing marketing offline and digital campaigns to drive sales, conducting market research, and managing public relations.
The Head of Marketing will be working primarily at the Lagos Office, but flexible to work from home when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute an overarching marketing strategy in alignment with Edves' business goals. Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team and foster a collaborative and innovative working environment.
Offline Marketing: Oversee the planning and execution of offline marketing campaigns, including TV, radio, newspaper, and billboard advertising. Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling offline marketing materials.
Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts across various platforms, ensuring a cohesive and effective online presence. Implement and optimize digital advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
Social Media Marketing: Develop and manage social media marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Monitor trends and emerging platforms to keep Edves at the forefront of social media marketing.
Email and SMS Marketing: Plan and execute targeted email and SMS marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers. Implement strategies for effective audience segmentation and personalized messaging.
Website and SEO Marketing: Oversee the optimization of Edves' website for search engines to enhance online visibility. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the website reflects current marketing strategies and objectives.
Event and Exhibitions Marketing: Coordinate and manage Edves' presence at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions. Develop and execute event-specific marketing plans to maximize brand exposure.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head of Marketing or in a similar leadership role.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of both online and offline marketing channels.
Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Qualifications
