Job Summary



  • We have built a digital mental health platform connecting people with convenient mental health support from the comfort of their homes.

  • We are seeking an experienced, communicative, technology-savvy, and compassionate clinical psychologist to join our team as a freelancer.

  • In this role, we are seeking staff to support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients.

  • You will work directly with clients via our platform to provide assessment, diagnosis, support, and treatment for mental health complaints and customize a care plan for each patient.


Job Description



  • Conduct regular appointments with clients who wish to converse with a mental health professional

  • Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients

  • Display professionalism in attending appointments on time and prepared for the consultation

  • Implement various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations

  • Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments

  • When required, refer clients to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs

  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality of every client situation in adherence with local guidelines

  • Maintain all required licenses and the appropriate insurance

  • Share suggestions/feedback with the team on your experience.


Job Experience



  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology

  • Meet all necessary licensure requirements to operate as a Clinical Psychologist in Nigeria including a full membership and legal state license from NACP

  • 3+ years of clinical experience working directly with clients (ideally in a clinical/primary care setting)

  • Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office tools including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Up to date knowledge of evidence-based practices, treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field

  • Ability to provide patient counselling for low-mental health literacy communication (advising in multiple relevant languages is a plus)

  • Computer literacy and ability to navigate products built for mobile, tablets and laptop devices

  • Analytical, effective communicator, solution-oriented, strategic thinker and innovative

  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a start-up mentality

  • Ability to effectively manage time to deliver on long term projects

  • Friendly, enthusiastic, relationship builder and collaborator with excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills

  • Keen attention to detail.
