Job Duties & Responsibilities
Retail Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive retail strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of retail initiatives to optimise sales and profitability.
- Ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience across all retail channels.
- Establish strategies and tactics for key retailers to maximise revenue from the retail channel
- Manage relationships with existing retailers to maintain and grow the organisation’s retail footprint
- Drive strategic product marketing initiatives in retail.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing retail team.
- Provide strategic direction and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Partnership Development:
- Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements to drive business objectives.
Sales and Revenue Optimization:
- Implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share.
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Customer Experience:
- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Implement initiatives to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
- Address customer feedback and continuously improve retail operations.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for retail operations and partnership initiatives.
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial objectives are met.
Brand Representation:
- Represent the brand positively in negotiations, meetings, and public events with external partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure that brand standards are consistently maintained across all retail outlets and partnerships.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail and partnership activities and regularly assess and report on performance against targets.
Person Specification & Additional Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree with 10+ years in B2B sales, account management or retail marketing experience
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within retail and partnership management.
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Curiosity to get to know our customers and our industry.
- Ability to understand business strategy, work across business units and support managers and manage working relationships at all levels of the company
