Summary:

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing operational processes, ensuring efficiency, and managing projects to successful completion within the oil and gas sector. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical background, project management expertise, and a commitment to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing operational processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.


• Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget constraints.


• Develop project plans, establish milestones, and allocate resources effectively.


• Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.


• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to prevent accidents and incidents.


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, maintenance, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) teams, to achieve operational goals.


• Liaise with external contractors and vendors to procure services and equipment as needed.

Requirements

• First Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.


• 2 to 5 years of experience in operations engineering preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry


• Strong project management skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.


• Knowledge of oil and gas production processes, equipment, and technologies.


• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools.
