What you’ll do

• Work with our tech team to improve existing features and work on new features on the Moni app.


• Collaborate with mobile engineers and product manager


• Build, test and maintain APIs (NodeJs) to be consumed by mobile engineers


• Integrate and consume third party APIs to solve business needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a backend engineer


• A Bachelor's Degree in any major.


• Experience working in a fast paced, remote environment


• Experience writing and deploying production grade applications using Backend JavaScript frameworks: NodeJs + Express.


• Experience building and maintaining APIs


• Experience with WebSockets, Redis and SQL


• Experience integrating with a Core Banking Application


• Experience building Digital banking services


• Understanding of git and version control


• Experience working in a Fintech is a plus


• Experience writing code across the Full-stack with frontend JavaScript frameworks is a big plus


• Experience writing and publishing technical content and documentation is a big plus.


• If you're bilingual in English and French, that's a big++


• Take ownership of the micro-service that will be assigned to them


• Experience writing unit tests


• Strong understanding of Typescript


• Strong understanding of Distributed systems and Micro-services
