Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and responsible Forklift Driver to join our team. The Forklift Driver will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.


• The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while following all company policies and procedures.

Job Description

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse or production area.


• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.


• Move goods between storage and production areas as per the production schedule.


• Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.


• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating the forklift.


• Conduct routine forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.


• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel to ensure the smooth flow of materials.


• Report any issues or delays promptly to the supervisor.


• Handle materials with care to prevent damage.


• Follow quality control procedures to ensure accurate and damage-free handling of goods.


• Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.


• Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking oil levels, refueling, and lubricating parts.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Must be able to operate a forklift for long periods, including reaching, bending, and lifting.
