About the job

• Ensure the implementation of Inventory management system.


• To stock the materials received from vendors properly as to ensure easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc..


• To ensure accurate accounting of the materials receiver and issued.


• To ensure proper safety measures are taken for the safety of the store building, materials in the store and the men working in the store.


• Maintains records and logs of items received, issued and shipped including description of articles, type and other identifying information in accordance with established procedures


• Takes physical inventory of supplies and equipment to determine actual amounts on hand, to review and/or reconcile stock records to detect spoilage, damage or variances in quantity.


• Effective communication on the status of stock item to the user and other stakeholder.


• Strong coordination with team , user departments and other stakeholder


• Analysis the aging of stocks & communicate the management about obsolete Stock.


• Ensure store environment are clean and well arrange


• Ensure compliance with Organization policies and procedures, regulations and local laws.

QUALIFICATIION AND REQUIREMENTS

• HND or Degree in Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Technology or Equivalent Certificate in a technical or business-related discipline.


• Minimum 2 - 3 years previous as store officer.


• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation,


• and Outlook)


• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)


• Sense of humor and good interpersonal skills.
