About the job

• Our company is looking to fill the role of server system administrator. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor iPas DM, document and analyze problems, and publish maintenance schedules


• Identify and resolve medium to highly complex production problems for support of iPas DM


• Analyse functional requirements from business/project users and provide recommendations to address the needs


• Maintain and provide infrastructure improvements to existing iPas DM instances


• Provide support and training guidance to Administrators


• Collaborate and interact with various stakeholders including the ICT team


• Willing to work after hours as part of a global team


• Lead and participate in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring


• Lead and participate in efforts to implement application updates to include upgrades, patches and new releases


• Support integration between various systems using available API's and web services


• Creates new user accounts, recovers lost passwords and keeps data secure


• Develops and implements network maintenance standard operating procedures


• Diagnoses and repairs hardware and network malfunctions


• Ensures security firewalls are updated regularly


• Provides management with regular reports

Requirements

• Solid experience with the configuration, troubleshooting, and operation of VMware vSphere's


• Knowledge and experience using MS Office Professional, Internet Explorer, and Outlook Demonstrated competent oral and written communications skills


• Current Security+ certification and must be DoD8570 compliant within 6 months of start date


• Must have current TS/SCi security clearance


• Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2 and 2016


• VMWARE version 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5
