- The principal purpose of the Marketing Officer role is to market the products and services of the Organization and increase sales for the Organization by encouraging patronage from customers.
Responsibilities
- Sell the products and services of the Organization and coordinate the sales efforts across diverse means.
- Develop Sales and marketing strategies for the company in line with the company objectives.
- Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximise brand promotion.
- Plan, develop and deliver campaigns to promote the products and services of the Organization.

- Follow up to ensure all sales plans are executed succinctly.
- Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to both existing and prospective customers.
- Provide oversight on all office activities.
- Planning and project managing marketing events and evaluating their success.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activity.
- Developing and implementing an internal marketing programme.
- Supporting the marketing manager in day-to-day marketing activities.
- Plan, develop and deliver campaigns as agreed within timescales.
- Deliver a weekly performance report to management.
Working Hours, Patterns and Environment:
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
- 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (Alternate Saturdays)
Qualifiations
- Proven work experience in similar role
- B.Sc./BA in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field with 3-6 years experience
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g., CRM)
- Good understanding of social media and web analytics
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach
