Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

• Collaborate with school leaders to shape the vision and direction.


• Assist in developing aims, objectives, and the School Improvement Plan.


• Lead in Performance Management of teaching staff.

Teaching and Learning Leadership:

• Implement the Cambridge Secondary and British Early Years Curriculum.


• Oversee assessment and lead curriculum delivery.


• Monitor and evaluate teaching quality and pupil achievement.

Maintaining School Profile:

• Organize displays, events, workshops, and initiatives.


• Lead parent workshops and induction meetings.


• Ensure high expectations are demonstrated in the Secondary School and Sports areas.

Resourcing:

• Ensure the Secondary School is well-resourced.


• Oversee health and safety arrangements for lessons and events.

Other Responsibilities:

• Deputy Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust safeguarding practice.


• Undertake reasonable duties as requested by school leadership.


• Ensure the safeguarding of all students.

Requirements

• Appropriate Degree with PGDE or equivalent.


• Five years of British or Cambridge Curriculum experience.


• Three years of leadership experience.


• Outstanding Secondary practitioner with proven impact.


• Effective communication skills and ability to provide curriculum training.


• Organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.


• Positive and solution-focused attitude.
