This is a full-time on-site role located in Ikeja for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer.
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and designing the MEP systems for new construction projects, performing inspections, creating installation plans, and ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
They will be responsible for creating and reviewing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans and working with contractors, architects, and other professionals in the construction industry.
Qualifications
Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) skills
Experience in plumbing, electrical engineering, and building services
Experience in MEP Coordination
Experience working in the construction industry.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with contractors, architects, and other professionals.
A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.
Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP engineering.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
Proficient in MEP design software and tools.
Proven experience in managing MEP aspects of construction projects.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
Experience in MEP projects related to hotels or commercial offices.
Relevant certifications in MEP engineering.
JOB ROLE
Develop and oversee the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects.
Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
Manage MEP aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ensure all MEP systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Implement and enforce quality control measures for MEP installations.
Prepare detailed quotations for MEP systems, considering materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to MEP engineering teams.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their MEP system requirements and address concerns.
Maintain accurate records of MEP designs, specifications, and project documentation.
