Role Description



  • This is a full-time on-site role located in Ikeja for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer.

  • The MEP Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and designing the MEP systems for new construction projects, performing inspections, creating installation plans, and ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.

  • They will be responsible for creating and reviewing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans and working with contractors, architects, and other professionals in the construction industry.


Qualifications



  • Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) skills

  • Experience in plumbing, electrical engineering, and building services

  • Experience in MEP Coordination

  • Experience working in the construction industry.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with contractors, architects, and other professionals.

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.

  • Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP engineering.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.

  • Proficient in MEP design software and tools.

  • Proven experience in managing MEP aspects of construction projects.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.

  • Experience in MEP projects related to hotels or commercial offices.

  • Relevant certifications in MEP engineering.


JOB ROLE



  • Develop and oversee the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects.

  • Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.

  • Manage MEP aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure all MEP systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures for MEP installations.

  • Prepare detailed quotations for MEP systems, considering materials, labor, and equipment costs.

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to MEP engineering teams.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their MEP system requirements and address concerns.

  • Maintain accurate records of MEP designs, specifications, and project documentation.
