Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a User Experience Designer in Ikeja.


• The User Experience Designer will be responsible for creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes, conducting user research to ensure a user-centered approach to design, and defining and implementing methodologies for design thinking and visual design.


• The User Experience Designer will also be responsible for continuously iterating and improving existing designs to enhance the user experience.


• As a UI Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling user interfaces for our digital products.


• You will be responsible for understanding user needs, translating requirements into user-friendly designs, and ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.

Job Description

• Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.


• Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.


• Managing the UI/UX team


• Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.


• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.


• Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.


• Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.


• Providing advice and guidance on implementing UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior.


• Adhering to style standards in typography and graphic design


• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and business goals.


• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts.


• Design intuitive user interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms, adhering to usability best practices.


• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.


• Maintain design consistency and standards across all digital products.


• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI design.

Qualifications

• Design Thinking and Prototyping skills


• Experience in conducting User Research and utilizing User Experience (UX) principles


• Proficiency in Visual Design, with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools


• Experience developing user flows, wireframes and prototypes for web and/or mobile applications


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in a team environment


• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design or a related field


• Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant coding languages is a plus


• Portfolio of work demonstrating relevant UX/UI design experience


• Proven experience as a UI Designer or similar role.


• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.


• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design projects and process.


• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
