Position Overview



  • We are seeking a skilled International Relations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global political, economic, and social dynamics, particularly as they relate to Africa, Nigeria, and their international partners.

  • The International Relations Analyst will be responsible for providing insightful analysis and commentary on key international developments that impact business, investing, and financial markets in Nigeria.

  • This role will involve researching, synthesizing, and presenting complex information in a clear and accessible manner for our audience.


Key Responsibilities



  • Monitor and analyze global political, economic, and social trends, with a focus on their implications for Nigeria's economy and financial markets.

  • Research and report on international developments such as geopolitical conflicts, trade agreements, and economic policies that may impact Nigeria's financial landscape.

  • Provide regular updates and analysis on international events that affect key industries, sectors, and investment opportunities in Nigeria.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop content strategies and contribute insights to various platforms including articles, reports, podcasts, and social media.

  • Cultivate relationships with external experts, policymakers, and industry professionals to stay informed and gather insights on relevant international issues.

  • Support the consulting arm of the company by providing international perspectives and expertise to clients seeking guidance on global market trends and opportunities.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in international relations analysis and incorporate them into research practices as appropriate.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or related field.

  • Proven experience in i research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex informat nternational relations analysis, preferably in a financial, consulting, or media organization.

  • Strong understanding of global political, economic, and social dynamics, particularly as they pertain to Africa and Nigeria.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated passion for staying informed about global affairs and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate analysis.
