Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Run the daily activities of the society in an organized and efficient manner

  • Relate with IT stakeholders, industries, and governments on behalf of the society on issues relating to IT development in Nigeria

  • Constantly developing and executing strategies for guaranteeing the financial viability of the society

  • Promote, enhance, and sustain the membership of the society

  • Pursue the implementation of the objectives of the society

  • Realising the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) defined for the office

  • Create new values and opportunities for the society

  • Coordinate the effective implementation of the activities and programmes of the society

  • Carry out the functions stated in the constitution of NCS

  • Any other duties assigned by the President and National Executive Council.


Qualifications and Professional Requirements



  • Degree in Computer Science or any Information Technology related discipline

  • Masters in any IT related discipline or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) will be an added advantage.

  • Must have a minimum of 10-years cognate experience in the Information Technology practice

  • Membership of Nigeria Computer Society for a minimum of five years

  • Registration with Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) - CPN

  • Must not be more than 55 years at the time of application.

  • Must have good knowledge of the administration and management of corporate organisations

  • Must have good knowledge of the administration and management of corporate organisations

  • Must have result-oriented leadership qualities

  • Must have sound communication and interpersonal skills.
