Responsibilities

• Regular reviews of project status ensure all options have been considered and evaluated to improve construction performance


• Ability to solve site problems through good engineering practice


• Control of site environmental issues


• Ensuring all project KPIs and KPMs are achieved


• Uploading documents to company systems as and when necessary in line with business requirements


• Developing accurate project programs for weekly updates


• Ensuring compliance to procedures, specifications and International and National Engineering Standards


• Identify and provide solutions to issues as they arise.


• Weekly submission of information including weekly timesheets, material sheets and plant & site checklists


• Collection of data for divisional coordinators including drawings of layout, sections and construction details


• Participate in any peer reviews of M+E drawings, calculations and specifications.


• Ability to coordinate and support power generation installation work.


• Carry out site inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests for plant and equipment as required.


• Ensure all punch lists are initiated and closed out prior to issue of M+E completion certificates.

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering


• Professional certification required – e.g. COREN, NSE


• Safety and ISO knowledge and certification

Experience:

• 
  

  Minimum of 10 years’ experience in either an engineering consultancy or engineering construction environment.
