As a member of the Corporate Finance Department, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and analyzing new business opportunities, leading strategic relationships and acquisitions, and driving revenue growth.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret financial information and recommend further courses of action.·
- Build financial Models for the company, its subsidiaries, and its projects.
- Prepare Pitch Decks, Teasers and Information Memorandums.
- Strategic planning through the analysis of day-to-day financial activities ensuring precision, the provision of valuable insights and recommendations to Executive management.
- Structuring and implementing financial plans that support the company’s growth and profitability.
- Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Lead the capital raising strategy of the Company and its subsidiaries.
- Lead negotiations with providers of capital.
- Develop strategies to optimize the capital structure of the Company.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the Company should take.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in investment banking or similar role.
- Proven experience in building financial models and preparing pitch decks.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
- Extensive experience in raising debt and equity capital.
- Proficient user of MS Excel, MS Power Point & MS Word
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- A solid understanding of financial terms and accounting principles.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
- BSc/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and other related fields.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAN, ANAN, CITN will be an advantage.
