Location: Abuja


Salary:  N 150,000 and above


Responsibilities


The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):



  •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Record all financial transactions in a timely and organized manner.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial data.

  • Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Generate financial reports for management to support decision-making processes.

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.

  • Contribute to financial forecasting and planning processes.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

  • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and communicate implications to the team.

  • Monitor and control expenses within budgetary guidelines.

  • Analyze variances and report discrepancies to management.

  • Coordinate and provide support for internal audits.

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy


Requirement



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role.

  • Membership in a recognized professional body i.e., ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
