Job Summary



  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

  • Supports the development and implementation of the performance management and learning & development systems of the company to optimise staff performance and foster employee development.


Responsibilities



  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention

  • Works with Line Managers to ensure that performance discussions are documented on the digital platform

  • Provide HR policy guidance

  • Drives the process of goal setting for all staff at different levels and ensures it is documented on the digital platform

  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning

  • Suggest new HR Strategies, HR challenges and HR plans that can help the business with senior management and key holders.

  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.

  • Initiates and concludes the process of employee confirmation.

  • Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.

  • Assists with the design and development of learning content for in-house and function/ organisation-specific topics and conducts train-the-trainer sessions.

  • Works with line managers and heads of functions to identify job needs/workload assessments.

  • Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess a B.SC / HND

  • 5 years minimum experience in the HR field.

  • Recognised Human Resource Certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, CIPM, etc.).

  • A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Analytical skills.

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Meticulous attention to details.
