Job Description

• We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to serve as our North and North Central Region correspondents.


• In this role, you will be responsible for covering business news, market developments, and economic trends specifically in the North and North Central regions of Nigeria, including states such as Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Niger, Plateau, and others.


• Your role will involve conducting in-depth research, producing high-quality written content, and engaging with key stakeholders to provide valuable insights to our readership.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyze business news, market trends, and economic developments in the North and North Central Nigeria regions.


• Produce high-quality written content, including articles, reports, and analyses, focusing on the business landscape in the region.


• Conduct interviews with local entrepreneurs, business leaders, and industry experts to gather insights and perspectives.


• Monitor and report on regulatory changes, policy developments, and market dynamics affecting businesses in the North and North Central Nigeria regions.


• Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of content delivery.


• Engage with our audience through various platforms, including social media, to foster discussion and interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English Language, Mass Communication, Journalism, Economics, Finance, or a related field.


• Proven experience in financial journalism, business analysis, or related roles.


• Strong understanding of Nigerian markets, economic indicators, and business dynamics, particularly in theNorth and North Central Region


• Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.


• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with content management systems.


• Previous experience covering specific industries or sectors within the North and North Central Nigeria region.
