STEEL FABRICATION SUPERVISOR

• To ensure that all welds are flawless,


• Coordinate, Supervise and monitor production team members.


• Interpret, explain fabrication drawing to the production team.


• Ensure that fabrication platforms & jigs are properly set.


• To ensure that quality and schedule of work meets customers/SCNL standards


• Weld components and framework using a variety of welding processes.


• Take daily production report and submit all reports to assistant Production Manager.


• Position, align and fit parts according to specifications.


• Grind, sand, polish and detail fabrications to required finish using hand and power tools to a high standard.


• Measure and examine completed work to verify conformance to specifications.


• All Fabrications tasks are to be completed in the agreed (quoted) time frames or better.


• Operation of manual machine tools, as part of the fabrication process when required.


• Machines to be kept in a tidy and well-maintained manner, which would require maintenance from time to time.


• To ensure that all welders adhere to safety rules and regulations.


• To ensure that daily work schedules are achieved with high percentage completion.


• To ensure that disciplinary measures are implemented.


• To ensure that Management directives are implemented.


• To ensure close monitoring of attendance, job handover and receipt.


• To ensure that efforts are made at promptly delivery of high-quality work.


• To make sure that Toolbox meetings are held before commencement of work.


• To ensure that welders signs all necessary tools from stores and returned back after use


• To ensure effective communication between the line supervisors.


• To see that company’s values of safety, quality, integrity and schedule are met.
