Description 

• Preparing patients: This involves explaining the procedure, obtaining informed consent, assessing vital signs, administering medications (pre-medication, pain management), and ensuring proper positioning for the specific imaging test.


• Monitoring patients: During the procedure, radiology nurses closely monitor patients for any adverse reactions, anxiety,or discomfort. They may adjust positioning, provide emotional support, and administer additional medications as needed.


• Nurses collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND or BSc in relevant fields with 2 - 5 years work experience.
