Job Description

• A Back-end Developer will be responsible for the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power the Lodge Compliance web and mobile applications.


• Working closely with the front-end development team, and contributing to the creation of seamless, high-performance applications and the deployment of new features.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs for web and mobile applications.


• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.


• Optimize and scale applications for maximum performance and reliability.


• Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.


• Collaborate with other team members to define project requirements and specifications.


• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing.


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and performance.


• Implement security and data protection measures.


• Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for back-end systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.#


• Experience with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).


• Familiarity with web application architecture and RESTful API design.


• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.


• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
