Job Overview:



  • We are seeking a highly motivated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing monitoring and evaluation systems to track the progress and impact of our programs and projects.

  • The M&E Officer will work closely with the program manager, collect and analyze data, and provide valuable insights to improve program effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:


Design and Implement M&E Systems:



  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for projects.

  • Design data collection tools and methodologies to gather relevant information.


Data Collection and Analysis:



  • Collect, compile, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Conduct field visits to ensure data accuracy and reliability.


Reporting:



  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on project progress, outputs, and outcomes.

  • Present findings to internal and external stakeholders.


Quality Assurance:



  • Conduct data quality assessments and ensure the integrity of collected data.

  • Recommend improvements to enhance data quality and reporting.


Learning and Adaptation:



  • Collaborate with project teams to adapt strategies based on M&E findings.


Collaboration:



  • Work closely with the project team, and external partners.

  • Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.

  • Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with organizational M&E policies and standards.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate them into our systems.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Development Studies, Social Sciences, Statistics).

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E systems for development projects.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in data analysis software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with donor reporting requirements.
