Job Description
The responsibilities of the AOBO Reservoir Engineer are to:
- Perform proper follow-up of Operators’ numerous field activities, production, and reservoir studies.
- Prepare validation dossiers, under the supervision of the AOBO Senior Reservoir Engineer, for internal approvals,
- Carry out key reporting exercises (weekly, monthly, SOX, production forecasting, LTP, reserves, etc.) for AOBO
ACTIVITIES
- Production Follow-up & Data Gathering
- Reservoir Engineering Activities
- Review & QC operator’s work and plans (Field Reviews, Field Development Plans, Appraisal Plans, well proposals, field monitoring)
- Active participation in studies on operator’s work using RE analytical or numerical techniques and contribute to the preparation for dynamic studies for validation.
- Make recommendations based on technical judgment for direct report approval, with a view to optimizing the economic value of assets. Make presentations as required.
- Promote HSE policies in line with the Company’s.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Petroleum Engineering or other branches of engineering (B. Sc. or M.Sc.).
- Professional experience in Reservoir Engineering.
- Ability to synthesize data and capacity to interact with operational professionals.
- Fluency in English is highly desirable.
