Job Responsibilities:
- performing spa treatments, massages, facials and wellness therapies
- managing inventory, including beauty, bath and treatment products
- negotiating with vendors and ordering supplies and equipment
- creating and updating the spa menu
- Always demonstrate sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest's experience
- Develop and maintain retail preoduct program
- Ensure all dealings with guest at Spa area to meet or exceed company's operating standards.
- Ensure all areas of Spa are kept clean and well maintained at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation govering the operation of Spa facility.
- Ensure the guest experience in relaxing and in accordance with the company standard.
- Ensure the health and safety of guests and employee are paramount at all times.
- Ensure consistent Spa experience development to ensure that innovation and uniqueness is maintained.
- Oversee daily salon operations.
- Hire and train beauticians as needed.
- Organize employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality.
- Order beauty products, like creams and essential oils and replenish stock.
- Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment.
- Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
- Ensure all beauty treatments meet high quality standards.
- Promote services, products and discounts on social media.
- Receive payments from clients and track all transactions.
- Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly).
- Run online competitions and offer discount packages to attract new customers.
Requirements and skills
- Minimum of BSC/HND Certificate
- Proven work experience as a Spa and Beauty Salon Manager or similar role
- Good knowledge of beauty treatments and products (e.g. for skin care)
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have worked in a well known Spa and Saloon
- Excellent knowledge of saloom administration
