JOB SUMMARY. 

• We are seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage our maintenance activities and operations for our growing fleet of aircraft.


• The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all aviation regulations, uphold safety standards, and airworthiness while also optimizing aircraft availability and minimizing maintenance downtime.


• You will lead a team of skilled technicians to deliver exceptional maintenance services. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training and support to ensure efficient operation. 


• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, policies, procedures and protocol for Honda Jet aircraft with industry standards and best practices. 


• Ensure compliance with NCAA and other relevant aviation authority regulations, manufacture requirements and company standards. 


• Oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance including planning, scheduling, execution of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, modification, and component replacement. 


• Collaborate with other departments, including flight dispatch, operations, quality, and safety to optimize availability and reliability. 


• Manage inventory, procurement and the use of tools, equipment, and spare parts. 


• Develop reports of key performance indices to project aircraft availability and project budgets. 


• Interview alongside HR, supervise and train maintenance personnel, ensuring that all personnel are properly licensed, trained, and qualified to perform their duties.


• Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team.


• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure timely documentation. 


• Develop and implement maintenance safety programs and ensure that all maintenance personnel are properly trained in safety procedures. 


• Develop reports of key performance indices to project aircraft availability and project budgets. 


• Manage maintenance costs and work closely with the finance team to develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 10years experience in aircraft maintenance with at least 5years of management experience 


• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics and troubleshooting procedures 


• Strong knowledge of NCAA regulations and industry standards related to aircraft maintenance. 


• FAA License


• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively. 


• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and safety protocols in the aviation industry. 


• Exceptional organizational and communication skills 


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards. 


• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with budgeting and cost management 


• Must be willing to travel as required. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance or related field 


• Substantial work experience with challenger and Lear Jet models
