Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients/employees/clients
- Drug Administration to ill-patients
- Drug requisition to replenish drug stock
- Dressing of wound and Injuries sustained from work related activities.
- Day-to- day clinical visitation and assessment.
- Medical intervention and stabilization in emergency situations or job-related injuries/incidents
- Maintain medical records of, follow-up and counsel patients/employees/clients with special conditions (such as High Blood pressure, high sugar levels, etc.)
- Keep track of infirmary drugs stock/inventory and notify the department when restock/new drugs/equipment are needed
- Facilitate Basic First Aid trainings for all employees
- Train and organize Stretcher party for intervention in emergency situations.
- Ensure medical presence at all special operations/events, such as drills, or evacuations.
- Suggest improvements on health management system
- Monthly first aid box and eye wash stations inspections
- Weekly and Monthly infirmary reports, for trend analysis and stock management to department
- Maintain records of infirmary attendance for employees and clients.
- Draft pep-talks/contribute on Health issues (awareness campaigns)
- Organize employees for health talks and health awareness campaign.
- Refer patients to external medical professionals as required.
- Medical Evacuation of critically injured person
- Advise personals on drug usage when drugs are declared.
- Promote drug and alcohol abuse policy.
Education and Qualifications
- A minimum of Bachelors’ Degree in Science / Medical program
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to follow same.
- Midwifery & Registered Nursing Certificate.
