Description

The Dangote Cement Transport is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Traffic officer to join our team. The Traffic officer will be responsible for assembling, controlling, and directing all incoming and outgoing trucks. They will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in and around the plant.

Job Description:

• Patrol assigned beat on foot, on a motorcycle, or patrol car to control traffic.


• Directs trucks entering the plant for loading to avoid traffic around or under disruption.


• Disperse unruly crowds at public gatherings


• To make sure the road network is free always and issue tickets to traffic violators.


• Physically intercept trucks entering the plant for loading, ensuring proper arrangement of trucks post-loading for successful dispatch. Recording valid ATC loading advice, confirmed by the logistics and control department.


• Recording of trucks going in and out at AG Park (Kara) for minor and major repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE and OND.


• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience.
