  • As a WordPress Developer Manager at Tobams Group, you will lead a team of developers, overseeing the design, development, and management of WordPress websites. Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage a team of WordPress developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of WordPress websites, ensuring they meet client specifications and project deadlines.

  • Collaborate with project managers and designers to translate client requirements into functional WordPress websites.

  • Customise and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs.

  • Implement responsive design principles and ensure seamless user experiences across different devices.

  • Monitor and optimise website performance and security through code optimization and best practices.

  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and emerging technologies in web development.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality websites.

  • Address and resolve any WordPress issues or conflicts that arise during the development process.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong understanding of WordPress and its best practices.

  • Experience managing a team of developers, and providing mentorship and guidance.

  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Deep understanding of the WordPress admin panel and common WordPress issues.

  • Ability to commit to a full-time position.
