About the Role



  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial transactions, analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities



  • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Reconcile financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.

  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

  • Maintain accurate up-to date financial records

  • Audit and verify requisition

  • Calculate Company Tax

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Forecast the financial implication of Develop and execute business plans that align with company goals

  • Conduct market research and analyse data to verify financial request

  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve business objective

  • Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives

  • Report financial statement to senior management

  • Travel as required to monitor projects and or meet with clients and stakeholders

  • Evaluate and manage financial risks associated with business development activities.


Candidates Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Proven track record in developing and executing business plans.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

  • Familiarity with market research and analysis tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel for project, client and stakeholder meetings.

  • Must be currently residing in Abuja, Nigeria.
