Job Summary:

As a Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking aspects of performance and financial management, including and supporting corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budget and forecasts preparation. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the financial and risk management operations of the company by designing, implementing, monitoring and measuring financial performance within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and measure financial performance within the company.


• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.


• Ensure continuous finance process improvement within the company.


• Prepare monthly performance reports and perform variance analysis on performance reports.


• Evaluate performance trends.


• Monitor management information system for reporting performance.


• Budget preparation, monitoring and analysis.


• Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations and achievement of targets.


• Preparation and delivery of performance management training manuals, policies, and procedures.


• Oversee the collation & recording of performance information and provide assurance that these are recorded appropriately. 


• contract negotiations.


• Implement financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity for forecasting.


• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and performance reporting.


• Continuously assess financial information on all asset classes, evaluate various investment opportunities.


• Ensure integrity of inputted numbers in the financial reporting process.


• Support month-end and year-end close processes.


• Carry out analytical reviews of financial information and performances.

Requirements:

• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a financial performance management role within the Asset management/Commercial Banking industries.


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance.


• ICAN, ACCA or similar professional qualification is required.
