Responsibilities

Planning    

• Diligently carry out audit review as may be assigned during audit exercise or assignment by audit team lead.


• In conjunction with audit team lead, follow up with auditees for prompt submission of all records required for audit review based on request list submitted after audit opening meetings.


• Participate in audit review activities

Reporting    

• Communicate audit findings by preparing audit exception reports


• Follow up with auditee for prompt response to audit exceptions


• With audit team lead’s guidance, play active roles in the generation of data required for audit analysis.


• Carry out adequate audit review free of error, mistakes or omission.


• Evolve and suggest improved internal control policy, processes & procedures based on audit review & audit exceptions.

Others    

• Preparation and dissemination of audit review meeting resolutions.


• Assist in proper filling of audit working papers physically and electronically


• Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics


• Membership of recognized relevant professional body like ICAN added advantage


• 4- 6 Years relevant experience
