Mechanic On The Go, an emerging automotive repair company based in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking a dedicated and analytical NYSC Corper to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role will play a crucial part in monitoring the company's financial health, identifying areas for improvement, and providing strategic recommendations to ensure profitability and sustainability.


Responsibilities:


Financial Monitoring:



  • Track and analyze the inflow and outflow of funds to ensure the company is operating within budgetary constraints and making profits.

  • Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records to maintain accuracy and integrity.


Risk Management:



  • Identify and assess financial risks and advise the Operations Manager and CEO on potential pitfalls and opportunities for mitigation.

  • Monitor market trends and economic indicators to anticipate changes that may impact the company's financial performance.


Financial Advisory:



  • Provide guidance and advice to administrative staff on sound financial practices and strategies to maximize profits and minimize risks.

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and revenue-generating activities.


Financial Reporting:



  • Prepare financial dashboards and reports at the end of each month to present to the management team.

  • Analyze key financial metrics and trends to evaluate the company's financial health and progress towards goals.


Qualifications:


Financial Acumen:



  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques.

  • Ability to interpret financial data and draw actionable insights to drive decision-making.


Analytical Skills:
