JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Responsibilities

• Provide community based primary and preventative healthcare services


• ⁠Conduct health assessments and screenings, such as monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar using appropriate screening medical devices in communities


• ⁠Providing counseling, support and follow-up


• Facilitate telemedicine consultations with Iyewo’s Physician/Doctor


• Delivering culturally appropriate health education and promotion


• Translating and interpreting for clients and health care providers


• Enrolling clients in additional services under the iyewo health system


• Field data collection, entry and storage.


• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.


• Participating in training, supervision, and meetings

Requirements

For Both

• For Community Health Officer (CHO) nal Diploma in Community Health.Validcertification and registration with Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria. Proven experience in primary healthcare settings.


• For Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) Certificate in Community Health.Valid certification and registration with Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria.


• Experience in community health extension services.


• Professional and friendly attitude.


• At least two years' experience working in field roles, directly engaging customers.


• Sound knowledge of relevant medical terminology, processes, and practices.


• Knowledge of patient management software.


• Excellent computer skills and ability to process a large amount of medical data on a daily basis.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Meticulous attention to detail and solid organizational skills.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to recruit clients for the clinic


• A friendly, approachable demeanor that will make patients feel welcome and at ease.
